Snow season is quickly upon us. Remembering the snows of winters past, it does not seem like all that long ago we had the large four foot snow berms dividing our streets.
For some Spokane residents, especially those on tight streets with predominantly street parking (Browne’s Addition comes to mind), knowing the plow schedule becomes especially important.
The City of Spokane has implemented several tools to allow residents to stay abreast of plowing activities, the newest being a text hotline.
By simply texting: 509-385-5775 and following the prompts, you can subscribe to plow alerts from specific neighborhoods including: Browne’s Addition, South Hill, Downtown Spokane, North Side, East Side and West Side.
