May in Spokane : Fun Local Events!

Spring is in Bloom!

Experience the warmth of the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area! When the month starts with a community-wide event like Bloomsday, you know you’re seeing the best of the Northwest. The Lilac City comes to life in May. When fragrant blossoms open, it’s time for Spokane’s Lilac Festival. Join the food truck rally and classic car show downtown, then stay for the annual Armed Forces Torchlight Parade, complete with bands, floats, and a royal court.

43rd Annual Bloomsday

Bloomies Unite! The race is this weekend May 5th. If you wanted to join and forgot to register there is still time! Sign up continues all the way through Saturday. Last minute runners can still get in on the fun here.  Not your thing, we understand, just don’t forget that the downtown streets will be shut down and packed full of runners on Sunday.
