According to statistics, as of January 2019 more than 3.1 million women in the US have had a history of or currently dealing with breast cancer. That’s a scary number. It is a scary topic and not a fun one to talk about but it’s one that needs to be discussed. Typically we hear a lot in October during Breast Cancer Awareness month but we feel it is something that should be at the forefront every month.
We want to take a moment and thank our very own Susan of The Spokane Home Guy Group for sharing her very personal story with everyone. She is currently 15 months cancer free and kicking butt each day. It was important for her to share this story and shine light on the subject. Mammogram screening is important and shouldn’t be “forgotten.” IF you or a loved one is facing the fight right now, you are not alone. There is support out there, and here is one place to start.
