January in Spokane : Fun local events



    Make your winter wishes come true this January!

    The Inland Northwest may be at its most scenic when the hills and evergreens are blanketed in sparkling snow. And there just happens to be plenty of slopes in the area where you can get your schuss on. The slopes are open and now is the time to get out there and play in the snow. Not sure which slope to hit, here is our ski resort roundup:

    Mt. Spokane – Find it just 28 miles from downtown Spokane. New SkyTrac triple chairlift is up and running for the season! Don’t miss the Children’s Choice Tubing Hill complete with rope tow, or night skiing every Wednesday through Saturday night for only $22. For the novice skier Mt.     Silver Mountain –   just 68 miles from downtown Spokane you can spend your day skiing the slopes and nights playing at the indoor water park at the lodge.     Bob Saget  – It’s sure to be a Full House when Bob Saget headlines at Spokane Comedy Club. The actor, director, documentary filmmaker, and bestselling author is returning to his roots as the “Dirty Daddy” of stand-up.
