Some of you may remember a previous rant about one of our experiences with Bank of American and USDA. Long story short, we skillfully completed a rather long Short Sale with B of A only to be met with an apologetic manager stating that they had made a mistake and processed our short sale in the wrong way, unfortunately, we were going to have to restart the process. This was November.
Having had a list of interested people, we hit the phones and within two weeks had procured another offer. This time we submitted it through the new process and we were welcomed and our file was expedited quickly through the process. Having had a previous net approved, we thought we were in the clear, but the USDA investor wanted a few grand more. We were able to comply and quickly closed the Short Sale less than 60 days after the original fail.
To that, I tip my hat. Well done Bank of America.
