5 Spokane Neighborhoods you should definitely check out.

When it comes to Spokane, in my opinion, wherever you land you won’t be far from fine dining, excellent recreation, and beautiful scenery.  The area is peppered with excellent up-and-coming restaurants, wine-bars, coffee houses and entertainment venues.  Most of which are centered among new and reinvented neighborhoods.

While there are many places to live, we’ve made a list of five notable new(er) neighborhoods (in our opinion) that you may want to watch.

In no particular order…

Kendall Yards – Kendall Yards is a great new urban development built near the heart of downtown.  Near walking trails, downtown life and sprouting life to new and up and coming restaurants. This is definitely an area to watch.

Elk Ridge Heights – Located south of the Spokane Valley, Elk Ridge Heights offers treed large lot privacy with the comforts of town.  Great city views to the northeast over the Spokane Valley.  Five minutes into dining, groceries and all the amenities of the Spokane Valley, and who can beat the privacy of a gated community?

Rocky Hill – Located in Liberty Lake WA, Rocky Hill is situated around Rocky Hill park.  Several builders (including but not limited to) Greenstone and Camden Homes have built amazing custom homes in this newer Neighborhood.

Legacy Ridge – Legacy Ridge in Liberty Lake has been around for some time.  Only recently announce is a large expansion project adding hundreds of new homes to the area.  Copper Basin among others have been building here for years.  Worth checking out this great gated community with many lots overlooking Liberty Lake.

Morningside Heights – Also another established neighborhood getting some new life.  A recent roadway addition between Barker and Chapman Roads has paved the way for expansion.  Watch out for some great homes from some very reputable builders coming up.
